Our Story

Augie’s Café began in Atlanta, inspired by the life and legacy of Augie Johnson (1948–2014) — a gifted vocalist and creative spirit whose love for music, joy, and bringing people together lives on.


Rooted in that same spirit, Augie’s Café was created as more than a place to eat. It’s a space where food, music, and community come together naturally. Our menu reflects New American Soul Food — classic comfort flavors reimagined with creativity, care, and soul.


As the vision grew, Augie’s Café expanded to Valdosta, Georgia, bringing the same soulful energy, scratch-made food, and welcoming atmosphere to a new community. Today, every dish, every melody, and every shared moment is meant to be enjoyed.

This was my fist visit and I liked it so much I’m bringing the family back for breakfast. The food was great. I feel the potatoes were over seasoned but that could be personal preference and also better over seasoned than under. The staff was super friendly and the place looks very nice.

By far, the best restaurant IN VALDOSTA!!! Food cooked to a T, with love and seasoned to perfection! We will be here daily... 😂 and very affordable pricing! Oh, lets not forget $20 bottomless Mimosas 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
